HSCP Microsoft Teams platform

The HSCP agencies and the relevant agencies to use Microsoft Teams platform for all multi-agency safeguarding virtual  meetings.

The sudden and unexpected coronavirus, (COVID-19) pandemic has had a drastic impact on the way we work in just a few months. We are relying on technology to allow us to work remotely and stay safe while we ensure that the most  vulnerable children and young people are protected across the partnership. Therefore, as a partnership, we need to standardise the video conferencing platform for our virtual meetings to ensure consistency.

At this current time, some partners including Children's Social Care and Police are now quickly implementing Microsoft Teams to facilitate remote working within their organisations. Microsoft Teams sincs with your calendar and pulls in all existing appointments. It also displays suggested times when all the other attendee's within each dedicated Team are free.

The HSCP aims to standardise the video conferencing platform for all our virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams  by next Monday 6th April 2020.
